LEARN MORE The European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT Food), in collaboration with AWomanCanBe.org, announces the launch of the new cycle of the Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) 2025 programme in Greece. The programme, implemented in 13 countries (Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Albania, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Poland, Estonia), aims to empower women who have an innovative idea or who are already in the early stages of launching their startups (start-ups from 2022 onwards).

Selected participants will receive six months of continuous support for their businesses and the development of their ideas/projects through online training and personalised mentoring. In addition, they will have access to investors, experts, and entrepreneurs who will help them evolve their ideas and businesses. Finally, participants will have the opportunity to compete for up to €10,000 in the competition taking place at the end of the cycle, which will highlight 2 winners (the 1st place winner will receive €10,000 and the 2nd place winner €5,000).
As part of the programme’s promotion, a special informational event will be held in collaboration with the University of Thessaly, where you can learn more about:

- The eligibility criteria (business ideas or early-stage start-ups up to 3 years old).
- The benefits: 6 months of mentoring, training sessions, access to a professional network, €1,000 funding for programme participation, and the chance to win an additional €15,000 for the top two winners in the final competition.
- The application process (deadline: May 25, 2025)

Join us on May 5 at 18:00 at the JOIST Innovation Park in Larissa, featuring presentations by experts and successful alumni of the programme, as well as guidance on how to prepare your applications.
