Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainable Development
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is related to the voluntary contribution of corporate organizations in achieving the goals of sustainable development or sustainability.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted on September 2015 by 193 member states of the United Nations to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all, as part of a new sustainable development agenda.
The 2030 Agenda consists of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 associated targets which relate to the most important economic, social, environmental and general governance challenges of our time. These goals set a clear road map by which optimum growth can be achieved and apply to all nations without exception.

A Woman Can Be & CSR initiatives
“A Woman Can Be” organization focuses on actions related to gender equality and environmental sustainability. We design, execute and promote dynamic women’s projects, in order to empower women and change the perception of female roles. Our actions raise public awareness on environmental issues and threats, such as climate change. We work on educating the next generations and on promoting outdoor activities and a sustainable way of living in harmony with nature.
Corporate social responsibility can refer to any effort to improve a company’s environmental and social impact. Certainly, businesses exist in order to earn a return for the business owners, and the potential for profit is the key motive for entrepreneurial activity. However, businesses are part of the wider society. Therefore, their development and prosperity depend on society’s overall situation, as well as the environment in which they operate.
In October 2010, the “renewed EU Strategy 2011-14 for Corporate Social Responsibility” started out with a new, broader view of CSR focusing on corporate commitments. Businesses, in order to meet their corporate social responsibility, must have a process in place to integrate social, environmental, ethical human rights and consumer concerns into their business operations and core strategy in close cooperation with their stakeholders.
DESIGN YOUR OWN CSR PLAN & INITIATIVES
The planning and execution of CSR strategies are important tasks for all companies, closely linked with corporate image and reputation. Depending on the sector, size and communication strategy of your organization, we can design the long or short-term CSR strategy and action plan of your company. At the same time, with the contribution of experienced partners and teams, we can organize and implement (in part or in full) the program, project, conference or specific action of your choice.
SUPPORT ONE OF OUR INITIATIVES
The planning and implementation of CSR actions absorb human resources from your business. If empowering women and environmental sustainability are at the heart of your priorities, you can SUPPORT OUR INITIATIVES in line with your organization’s CSR strategy.
