MUNICIPALITY OF ALIMOS HONORARY EVENT

Our climbing team attended the honorary event organized by the Municipality of Alimos on the occasion of “International Women’s Day”.
During the event, the Mayor of Alimos, Andreas Kondylis, honored the following seven distinguished and renowned Greek women in their field:
Alkyoni Papadakis, Writer,
Christina Zarafonitou · Professor of Criminology. Director of MA “Criminology” and of Urban Criminology Laboratory, Panteion University,
Maria Katsari, the first female Commander of the Academy of Merchant Marine Engineering of Chios,
Mary Makka, the first female Academic Director of the Academy of Merchant Marine Engineering of Chios,
Lena Antonakou, PR & Communications Manager of the Palaio Faliro Medical Center of the Athens Medical Group, and
Vanessa Archontidou and Christina Flambouri, the alpinists who conquered Alaska’s highest peak.
